Another poem of Mariah’s (read below)
Sometimes I’m lost
Lost hoping no return.
But I need to wander,
To find my place.
To feel the wind brush my skin,
The suns warmth on my body.
The air in my lungs,
The fresh cut grass in my nose.
Birds all around me chirping in a harmony
only they can understand.
Water dripping from the drain pipe.
The melody of the world.
The silence of nature, I crave so much.
To be in the pouring rain,
Feeling the cold,
Rain deep in every piece of fabric.
The water of a million miles soaking into me.
Showing we are one in the same,
Standing in the rain
I feel the earth whisper through the wind.
Let the rain wash away the pain.
Forget the world by being one with the universe and maybe you will find that you’re not lost but searching for yourself and like the rain, you’ll land where you belong.
